Educational Qualification for TNPSC :
| 1. Assistant Inspector (Post Code 1068) (Labour) – A degree from any University Accredited by the UGC Other things being equal preference shall be given to candidates (i) Who possesses the Master of Arts (MA) Degree in Social Work or (ii) Who possesses the Diploma awarded by the Madras School of Social Work or (iii) who graduated from Sagar University with a Master of Arts (MA) in Applied Psychology, or (iv) who finished the two-year Diploma Program at the Xavier Labour Relation Institute in Bihar or the Institute for Labour Welfare Workers in Bombay, or (v) who has earned a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from the University of Baroda, a PG Diploma in Labour Administration from the Tamil Nadu Institute of Labour Studies, or a degree in Labour Specialization from the PSG School of Social Work, Coimbatore, or a PG Diploma Program in Social Services from the Institute of Social Science, Loyola College, Madras, overseen by the Indian Institute of Social Order, Pune or (viii) Who has earned a postgraduate diploma in labor welfare, industrial relations, and personnel management from the Madras Productivity Council; (ix) who has graduated from the Madurai Institute of Social Work in Madurai with a postgraduate diploma in labor relations and personnel management; or (x) who has been released from short service, regular commissioning officers, emergency commissioning officers, or other ex-servicemen; or (xi) who has a Master of Arts (MA) degree in work education from the University of Madras |
