TNTET 2025: Notification & Application Details

• Notification Released:
  The Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB), Tamil Nadu, officially released the TNTET 2025 notification on August 11, 2025.

• Application Window:
  Online applications are open from August 11 to September 8, 2025 (by 5 PM), with corrections allowed from September 9 to 11, 2025.

Exam Dates (Tentative)

• Paper I (Classes I–V): 1 November 2025 (FN)

• Paper II (Classes VI–VIII): 2 November 2025 (FN)

Application Fee & Eligibility Overview

• Fees:

  • General/OBC: ₹600 per paper

  • SC/SCA/ST/PwD: ₹300 per paper

• Age Limit:
  Minimum 18 years as on July 1, 2025; no upper age limit

• Educational Qualifications:
  Paper I (Primary Level):

  • 50% in Class 12 + D.El.Ed / B.El.Ed / Diploma in Special Education (NCTE/RCI-recognized);

  • Relaxations applicable for reserved categories.

  Paper II (Upper Primary Level):

  • Graduation with ≥ 50% + B.Ed/B.El.Ed/B.A/B.Sc.Ed (NCTE/RCI-recognized); B.E + B.Ed also acceptable for Maths & Science.
