TNPSC Group 2 2022 Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must fulfill all the eligibility criteria to be eligible to apply online for TNPSC Group 2 2022. If a candidate failed to match the eligibility criteria, the candidature of a candidate can be cancelled at any level of examination. TNPS Group 2 Age limit

For all posts (except Sub-Registrar Grade – II, Probation Officer in the Prison Department and Social Defence Department) 18 Years 30 Years

Probation Officer in the Social Defence Department 26 Years 40 Years

TNPSC Group 2 Age Relaxation

 There is no maximum age limit for Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Caste (Arunthathiyars), Scheduled Tribes, Most Backward Classes / Denotified Communities, Backward Classes, Backward Classes (Muslims), and Destitute Widows of all categories.

  1. Age relaxation up to 10 years above the maximum age limit is given to differently-abled persons
  2. The maximum age limit for ex-servicemen is 48 years. However, the age concession does not apply to the ex-servicemen applicants who have already been recruited to any class or service, or category.
